The names of the ten comedians have not yet been revealed and Derbez himself will be in charge of making them known in the coming days through his networks. Among them stand out figures from various styles of comedy including stand-up, characters, improvisational and physical comedy, among others.
The third season of LOL: Last One Laughing consists of six episodes, the first two will be available on December 10, the next two on December 17, and the final two on Friday, December 24. The Serie is an Amazon Original production with Marie Leguizamo as showrunner and produced by 3Pas Studios, of Derbez and his partner Ben Odell and Endemol Shine Boomdog.
LOL: Last One Laughing is an adaptation of the wildly popular Amazon Original series in Japan, HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents Documentary, produced and starred by Hitoshi Matsumoto, who leads ten comedians who bet money in a "battle of laughter behind closed doors" where anything goes. Along with Mexico, the LOL: Last One Laughing series has been adapted for audiences in Australia, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy, among others. Derbez recently won a Daytime Emmy ® Award in the category of 'Best Daytime Show Host in Spanish' for his work on the previous season of LOL: Last One Laughing.
