DON OMAR ASSEMBLES HISTORIC REUNION WITH THE RELEASE OF “SANDUNGA”
Latin music legend Don Omar reveals his best-kept secret with the release of his new single “SANDUNGA,” which marks a historic reunion between renowned producers Luny Tunes and reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel.
After over a decade without recording together, the multifaceted artists orchestrated a reunion that promises to be a game-changer. The collaboration possesses an explosive sound, preserving the very essence of música urbanaand transporting the audience back to the genre’s origins. Out today, the song is part of the EP “Don Omar Presenta: Back to Reggaeton.”
Luny Tunes, the Dominican production duo composed of Francisco Saldaña and Víctor Cabrera, have played a crucial role in the early careers of both Don Omar and Wisin & Yandel, churning out numerous global hits. In this new phase, their collaborative effort promises to be nothing short of historic.
“Collaborating on this track with Wisin & Yandel and Luny Tunes has been a wish of mine for a long time” said Don Omar. “Not only did we revisit our musical origins, but the outcome speaks for itself. The video was shot in Miami, by Carlos Perez from Elastic People and had over 25 dancers.

This new song comes after the resounding success of “Forever King,” Don Omar’s first studio album in four years. The release included 14 tracks, and several of them immediately climbed to the top of the most important music charts. The EP “Don Omar Presenta Back to Reggaeton,” a Sugar Cream Music release, also features tracks like “MTKBRA” by Yomo, “TICSQLO” by Lyan, and “Mamacita” by El Yman y Lennox.
