MOVIE REVIEW - 'AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER', a visually stunning spectacle, exclusively in movie theaters December 16.

A visually and cinematically striking spectacle, displaying one of the most distinctive worlds up to date - AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER is one of a kind. Building off of it's eccentric prequel, 'AVATAR' which racked in $2.922 billion USD, the bar was set high for this sequel. And not only does it exceed those expectations, but also sets the bar even higher for the future.

Carrying a hefty runtime of 3h 10m, AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER has pretty consistent pacing, so it runs by smoothly.

From robust action sequences leaving you on the edge of your seat, to raw emotion through it's storytelling, this film was carefully crafted principally for the big screen. To add, I can confidently call this film the most visually beautiful film I have ever laid my eyes on. Every shot is color graded with vibrance and passion, while every action sequence has monumental visual effects.

We see many character introductions early on in the film, that stick throughout. In fact, the newly introduced children of Jake and Neytiri are one of the main focuses, which honestly felt questionable at first. But, I think rolling the dice and putting these young characters on the forefront of this story, really enhanced the emotional core & main theme of this film; Protecting your family, and the lengths to which we will go to look out for one another.

While there are several things that worked in 'AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER', there are a few discrepancies here and there. Little moments that make you go "Wait... what?". Some plot details feel scattered and inconsistent due to the events that took place in the prequel 'AVATAR'. Of course, there are always explanations. But the ones given were very brief, and were not given enough attention.

Overall, this film does have it's issues, but even then, 'AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER' is a viewing experience that you must see for yourself. Get your popcorn, get your drink, and prepare yourself for an absolute spectacle.

I had the pleasure of seeing this film early in 3D. Thank you so much to @hm_comms comms for providing me with this opportunity! #AvatarTheWayOfWater exclusively in movie theaters Friday, December 16! @Avatar
